First and foremost, kissing is an art that you can get better
at. Your first kiss with your partner might not be so great but over time, you
can learn the person’s preferences thus, for practice to make perfect, you must
be teachable. Now, just because you want to perfect the skill does not mean you
should go locking lips with everyone. Kissing is a step towards intimacy that
should be shared with only your partner.
It is a form of communication, so before going for it, maintain
eye contact to ascertain if your partner is really ready for that kiss or else
it can become very awkward.
Kissing is not just about puckering your lips. You must ensure
your mouth always looks inviting even if you have been together ten years.
Don’t have charred lips or bad breath; take care of your mouth.
Secondly, learn to heighten the pleasure for each other. So, let
it build up by doing other things than actually kissing the person. Allow your
hands roam freely over each other’s bodies; explore. Kiss other parts of the face,
go for the neck, earlobes or as you deem fit.
Take it slow and let it flow naturally. Don’t be too quick to
try to deepen the kiss. In the end, that might lead to too much tongue action
which some people find disgusting. If you want to get your tongue in, then
gently probe and see if the person opens up.
In as much as you are getting excited, do your best to relax and
get comfortable else the kiss can get sloppy. I believe kissing is more than
just bringing your lips together. The best kisses are a true reflection of your
feelings so make sure you pay attention to your partner to know how best to
pleasure the person. When you are both thinking selflessly, the experience is
more awesome.
